Thanks so, so, so much for being here!! Whitley
I styled my favorite Bridesmaid dress as a top in yesterday's post, pairing it with the skirt that is the match to this gorgeous floral print jacket. Had my own wedding been in the spring versus fall, I would have opted for my Bridesmaids to wear little white gloves like these which belonged to my Great-Grandmother. I just love old sophistication. It is clothes like these that make it hard for me to say goodbye to summer. I love all these bright, saturated hues. They are so fun and happy, which I think tend to make me fun and happy :). How about you?

You had me at the gloves. I been thinking about single handedly bringing them back in style at my church.

You look lovely and ladylike with this outfit and I love the fact you were wearing golves! Very elegant :)
ReplyDeleteGirl you know I love me some color!! You could not look more lovely!! And these white gloves make me so happy. They are the perfect touch for this outfit. I seriously love the print on the jacket and your skirt from yesterday. So gorgeous! I know you will rock both pieces next spring!! I could also see the jacket with a pair of dark skinny jeans and heels, and the skirt with a chambray top. Those would be great ways to rock the pieces in the fall. Just a thought! Ok very long comment :)

I feel like this look is so appropriate for a Southern girl like you! Indeed if you had been an extra in Steel Magnolias this is what you would have worn to Shelby's wedding, and you would have been the most fabulous lady there!

Oh seriously cool are you for using the same bridesmaid dress when you styled both of these pieces. I can't decide if I want the skirt or jacket more. Either way I think the white gloves are a fantastic touch!
