A tiny stretch of Selwyn Avenue constitutes part of one of my regular running routes. First, I run past Selwyn Pub and try not to peer over my left shoulder with envy at all those folks sipping on their cold beverages. Just beyond the pub, I'm usually slowing my pace to catch a glimpse of the window display at KK Bloom Boutique, which always bears lovely things. I pick up my pace to pass Yoforia, as I get that same feeling I do when passing Selwyn Pub. On a recent run, however, this dress in the window at KK Bloom stopped me in my tracks. It is so amazing, that I opted to keep it simple with my every day accessories. This dress is like butter; a paper thin swath of gauze that swirls and floats through the air with each step. It was all I could do return it to them. With all this talk of sipping on something cold and tasty, what better location for showcasing this dress than the patio at Nolen Kitchen.
I have a surprise for you at the bottom of this post!

What a fabulous dress- would be perfect to wear to my 30th birthday coming up in a few weeks!! I would wear with bangles, fun earrings, wedges and attitude :)
This dress is AMAZING! I would probably style it with a pair of gold wedges and some simple jewelry to let it shine...and hair up of course!
ReplyDeleteI did 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10 and 11!
I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw these photos of you in this dress. Totally in love and the way you paired it?! The Jewelry and bag are PERFECT!!! i'm totally lust over here haha
ReplyDeleteYou may think I'm crazy for entering but I usually fly into Charlotte to go home so I'd spend that certificate in a heartbeat haha. If I was home in SC I'd keep things simple as you have but while in SF I'd need a little more coverage. I'd probably add a cropped sweater and end up wearing it more like a maxi skirt until fall when the warn weather hits :)
I completed numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,11

wow! what a great dress AND a great giveaway! this dress doesn't even need a lot of styling - i think you've done a perfect job! i would keep my hair simple, maybe pulled back with the braid (love it!) and just some flat tory burch sandals.
ReplyDeletethanks so much!
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 11
This dress is stunning and would love to wear this to a wedding i have coming up. I love the boho style hair with this, braids and natural beachy waves would be gorgeous too. You could style this with jewelry in any colors out of this dress and wedges or flats too. Its perfect!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks

1, 2 ,3 5, 6, & 8.
Love the dress. Love the boutique.
ReplyDelete1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,10... and here's 11.
The way I would style the dress would have to be with these new Lucky ankle-strap wedges I just purchased at Dillards (http://www.dillards.com/product/Lucky-Brand-Gable-AnkleStrap-Wedges_301_-1_301_503278618?df=03843473_zi_peach), also I would accessorize with a few bangles and rings with my friend's chic jewelry line, Carsen Mackenzie (http://www.facebook.com/CarsenMackenzieJewelry), and with my hair parted in the middle with natural beach waves.
Maintaining a simplistic look would be ideal because the dress has already many colors. I would simplify yet accessorize with neutral colors.

Love this dress! I wouldn't style it much differently than you have here. I would probably add my turqouise Britta Bead set that I adore! Keeping it simple!
ReplyDeleteAdding my entries here: 1,2,3,5,6,11. Great giveaway! Happy Thursday!
LOVE this dress and this boutique! I don't think this dress needs any styling... it makes a statement all by itself- maybe some gold danglies (earrings) and a metallic clutch? I also entered 1, 2, 3, 6, 11! Thanks!
ReplyDeletei entered 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,(no blog so no 9),10
ReplyDelete11: For a hot summer day here in the Carolinas, I'd pair with just simple light jewelry that has been passed down to me from my grandmother. For work, I'd pair with a cropped jean jacket and some different jewels. To go out into the night, I'd throw on a cute pair of wedge heels, hair in beachy waves and sunkissed makeup. So many colors in the dress, it's too much fun to hide!
Facebook love to you and KK Bloom :) I hope you had a great week at the lake!
