How do you feel about denim on denim? I've had mixed emotions about it over time. I think mainly because while I feel it is a very all American classic look, it can also get a little trendy. The former I am drawn to, the latter not so much. I paired my denim look with two more American staples; a vintage Coach bag and cowboy boots, then dressed it up just smidge with small sparkly jewels and a cashmere cable knit. In all honesty, this might as well be my uniform. I wear any part of this outfit at least three days a week, if not the entire outfit three days a week. I definitely love casual and comfortable. How about you? Any regulars on rotation in your closet?
I hope your week is terrific!
As ever, thanks so much for being here! Whitley
Awhh, the age old denim on denim dilemma. I do fear that only you could pull this off.

I would wear this whole outfit in a second!!! I love your real cowboy boots with it, gives it a nice edge and makes the look your own, not trendy at all. LOVE!!

I'm with you, Whit. I hear denim on denim, or Canadian tuxedo, or whatever, and cringe. It's just too much...well...DENIM. But YOU, mama, look hotter than a firecracker on the fourth of July. Espesh with those cowboy boots that kill me dead every. single. time. And your cashmere to break things up. HOLLA!!!

You rock it well! I couldn't pull it off, or maybe it just takes me back to my high school days when I was sporting all GUESS denim ensembles :)
ReplyDeleteI just LOVE denim on denim. You look FABULOUS! I definitely wear it often!

I like denim on denim but not everyone does. It is tricky to pull off and admittedly it took me a while to come around to but I love the look and you are rocking it. All the accessories in browns are great pairings and keep is classically american. Love it!
