I think this might be my most fun post to date.  Any opportunity to channel my inner Cyndi Lauper, Madonna, Belinda Carlisle or other inner 80's goddess is an opportune time for me.  When Charlotte Roller Girls Tweeted me a very friendly how do you do, I knew I had to collaborate with them.  Charlotte Roller Girls is an all-female track roller derby league putting their best foot forward on the rink and in the community with a portion of bout proceeds going to charity.  Want to watch the Charlotte Roller Girls take action?  Check out their schedule here. Bouts are filled with activities for children of all ages, and be sure to arrive early for tailgating like you've never seen.  So, just tell me I'm the only one who loved shooting the duck and drinking suicides until purple in a carbonated swelled face.  To all of you male readers... waiting for that slow dance... Forever yours, Faithfully.

  3. What fun! Girl, we've got to discuss your abs! I'd die to be able to wear a half shirt like that; ok, and to be as coordinated as you on the rink! Love it! Great outfit too. Love the colors and the 80's vibe!

  5. Oh my hell. Go ON with that badass shoot the duck, mama. And when I saw on Facebook that you lived on suicides at the skating rink, I did a double take. I thought suicides were a midwest thang. Glad to see I'm not the only one who sucked those things down (along with as much Laffy Taffy as my stomach could handle. and a giant pickle of course. duh). You rock SO hard.

    Mwah!
